Patch Reef Park

Patch Reef Park is a 55-acre active & passive recreational park located in Boca Raton. The park was designed to be constructed in 4 phases. The 1st phase provided 2 softball fields & 1 baseball field, each with dugouts & bleachers, a football field with bleachers & an elevated press box, public toilet facilities, & 1/3 of the planned parking spaces. Phase 2 added an additional football field, a soccer / football field with bleachers, additional toilets, 2 concession stands, a maintenance facility, a community building, & additional parking. Phase 3 included 3 basketball courts, a children’s play area, picnic shelters, additional toilets & parking. Phase 4 completed the park facilities by bringing 17 tennis courts, 12 racquetball courts, a pro shop, concession facilities, additional toilets, and parking. Construction was completed in 1986 at a construction cost of $7 million.
